Well I am pretty sure there are going to be a few other wives there. Sean's wife and mine are going to be there. I am pretty sure Stu's wife is going to join the fun as well.

I was going to suggest maybe someone try to plan a girl outing Saturday or something...

Is there swimming, hiking, or anything else for the land-locked to do?

Both.  There is a nice single track trail that ends right by the camp, and the lake is plenty warm for swimming.  There are also lots of other things to do, especially if you like wine.  There are at least a dozen wineries in less than a 20 minute radius, several in less than 5 mintes.

Copy all that, I am still tring to get the time off and get my wife/kids to come. Just so happens that particular weekend is "Rosha Shananana" (little jewish humor there, don't know if I can do that, I'm not jewish or anything else).
Anyway, keep the possible landlocked events coming as to help with "losing thier religion" ...DANGLIN

Ok, if the girls are going to go out and get tipsy the must bring thier single cute sisters with them. They must like big hairy bald guys.

They could go wine tasting. There are several wineries close to the Ukiah area. Just a thought.

Is the campground only reserved for Saturday? What are the options if we want to make a weekend of it?

The camp is reserved for friday and saturday night.

You can reserve another campground from the park if you want to stay sunday (or thursday) night.

My son (Ty) and I are staying Thur and Sun nights at #79. How far is it to get to a newbie launch spot for the ocean. I would like to go early fri and be back at camp by Twoish fri. and then again on Mon morning. How far from lake is Ft Brag?Sshould everyone try to bring a little firewood?

Ft Brag is about 70 mies 1:45.

Anybody know what the park rules are for dogs? I have the wife interested in coming. A warm up trip in anticipation to our anual trip to Rancho Leonero. But, that means I would need to bring the dogs along. Are dogs allowed?

So where is the sign-up for the Mendo Tourney? I don't see any threads about where the sign up is.
