Dec 14 & 15 - Fishing Swap Meet at Rancho Seco

Hi everyone 

I was at Rancho Seco Park today and I grabbed a flyer - they are having a fishing swap meet in the parking area by the boat launch on December 14th and 15th, from 8am to 3pm.

I am not clear on if there is a charge to enter the park those days, but they will have fishing poles, reels, lures, boats (kayaks?), tackle, etc.
Sponsors are Fisherman's Friend and Lucky Dog Paddle Co.

I did a topic search on the forum and nothing came-up...so I am not sure this has already been posted! I figured it would be good to share 

Thanks for the tip.  I think my annual pass is still valid, so I might take a drive out there.

FYI, I asked the camp host about the parking and park entry:

"All people entering the park should stop by the office.  If they are only here for the Swap Meet they will be issued a special event tag at no charge.  If after they decide to stay around and use the facilities they will have to pay the entry fee, which is $10".

That's good! Perhaps I'll try my luck there. I fished Gibson Ranch with my kids, just a few days after stocking for nada!
