5 December 2013 - Kayak Fishing for Winter Bass
 
Winter is a sweet time to fish the foothill reservoirs for bass - few people and powerboats, wintering eagles and other wildlife, and soft winter lighting.  It's also a great time to chase largemouth, smallmouth and spots.  As the water cools is now cooling into the low 50s the bass are beginning to transition into their winter habits, and air temperatures are forecast to drop this coming week with the passing front.  We'll cover info for locating bass during winter and basic methods for using artificial and live bait to target them at Clear Lake, Berryessa, Folsom and Bullards Bar.     

This is our last seminar of the year and CCK will fire up the grill, BBQ some man-dogs and do it up NCKA potluck style.  CCK will provide the man-dogs and fixings, plates and utensils, and water. Potluck will start at 6:30 and we’ll get the seminar started around 7 PM. Hope to see you there.
