(You guys may wonder why I go through great lengths to assist him or others in the past; I went through extreme hardships in my past, and knows personally how it feels to be alone in this type of situation. And, I do not wish this on my worst enemies and will do what I can to help my friends and family (Eric and Verna are both to me).

Hope you have a Blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends.

This year I am trully thankful to be blessed by such wonderful friends!

Was planning to send a check to Eric but ran out of stamp so I'm using my son Paypal account instead.

Just got off the phone with Eric, who had an overwhelming sense of gratitude in his voice; you could almost hear & feel the tears of contentment knowing that he will be able to address this unexpected hardship with minimal impact to his family’s financial well-being.

Couldn’t explain how thankful he was for Dilbeck’s & BassManBen’s hookups; now he would be able to help more with the funeral expenses for his sister.

And, he kept going on, and on, and on how thankful he was from the members of this organization and how much it is going to help. Prior to the post, they were trying to organize their upcoming finances to fund this crisis, all the time worrying about how they would make ends meet. When his wife got home from a long day at work, (with the financial concerns on her mind the entire day), she literally was in tears after Eric should her the post.

Sorry Eric for sharing some of our conversation (at least I didn't mention that you cried like a little school-girl :smt010), but I just wanted to express the real thankfulness and appreciative moments that you and Verna had; and to let the club know our trully thankful you are.

I will be transferring $1,290 directly into his bank account this afternoon, so he has immediate access to the funds if he needs it.

And you wonder why I have to keep raising the price of a stamp??

... a person is defined by the manner in which he carries oneself and the people that he keeps.

Hopefully I carry myself in a just manner; I'm already set on the "people part" with all of you fools as my family...

Have a great thanksgiving everyone!

Deposited $1,240 directly in his account; but was supposed to be $1,290, but i couldn't count that high. So I rolled the $50 back on the "Ledger" and will transfer it on the next run.

Called Eric to let him know that the funds were available, but he said he was running low on cash and couldn't talk; and I swear I heard slot machines in the background as he was hanging up :smt044 :smt044

Today was funny my wife asked me about why I would donate to someone on the net. I have never met and it was a scam. So I read your your note where you just got off the Phone. And she realized it wasn't a scam. I explained it was another member that was doing this for another member. She got it then and was happy I did my thing. And so was I.

Thank you all again,
My wife and I were so overwhelmed by your generosity, the we both broke into tears as we learned what was happening. It still takes my breath away just thinking of the love and generosity of this community.
My wife and I will be leaving for Colorado this Saturday and will take care of my sister's final needs, and arrange for services. We are scheduled to return to Fresno on the 11th.
Being able to take care of my sisters needs means more than any of you may know.
A little history about my sister;
During her younger years she was always teased because of her constant weight fluctuation. In her late teens, it was discovered that she had an under active thyroid so the doctors decided to completely remove it. They didn't have the knowledge about thyroids back than, so they let it go at that. After many years with health issues, and not being able to maintain constant employment, the doctors finally realized that she needed meds to regulate what the thyroid was supposed to. Unfortunately with a lifetime of health issues her body was not at its best.
We had a love hate relationship, we fought like cats and dogs, but when someone would tease her ... Well let's just say I had my share of trouble. When we became adults, we became better friends and enjoyed hanging out till we moved apart.

I'm glad she no longer has to deal with life's cruelties, but I will always miss her.

Thank you all again for giving me this last opportunity to take care of my sis, you can only imagine how thankful I am to have family like NCKA, I love you all and will never forget this.

See Ya Soon,
Eric / Yakhopper
