Had to vent my sadness :'0(

Got a call from my family in Colorado this weekend. They informed me that my oldest sister was taken to the E.R. on Thursday for breathing issues. The doctors decided to perform surgery on Friday to help her breathe, and she appeared to be recovering ok. During Friday night, she experienced more complications and the doctors had to perform CPR for 20+ minutes. She was brought back and stabilIzed, but at this point it was discovered that she was left without brain activity due to lack of oxygen. She is now stable again, but is being kept alive via a respirator.  The doctors have asked that all family members gather to say their final words. Her immediate family will be making the hardest decision as to grant her wish of not being kept on life support.  I will be praying for my sister and her family to have peace in the days and weeks ahead. 
I will miss my big sis ...

I try to keep my personal life to my self, but needed to vent somewhere and figured you all are like family and I could really use as much family as I can get :'0(

So sorry to hear this... So hard, hang in there. She is in a good safe and warm place. Joy on the other side. We just get to mourn here. Prayers going out to you and your family. She will be met on the other side by those she knows. Let's go fishing somewhere if it get's to be too much and you need a group hug...
