Conditions and my schedule look promising on Monday, so thinking it's time to give my newly acquired crab ring a try. Anyone planning to be out? Was thinking of launching out of Bolinas and trying south along stinson beach. Hoping to hook up with someone willing to let me tag along and learn.

John, I'm heading out to HMB on Monday if HMB can be one of your option

I'm thinking I'll launch out of HMB tomorrow, too. Because it's such a beast-of-burden I'm going to be in my 14' woodie rowboat. Ch.69.

I probably couldn't get there until about 10 o'clock -- I know that's late, but is it too late?

It was glassy here in Monterey all day, today. As long as the weather holds, the crabs don't care when they eat.
