Hi all.... hate to start out my first post with a non-kayak fishing question, but I'm going to visit my parents up north (where I grew up) and don't have room for the kayaks. We were going to poke-pole/crab in or near Half Moon Bay... but if anyone has other suggestions I'm open. Maybe some good shore fishing for legit rockfish/cabs? Don't worry about secret spots. I grew up fishing from SF to Santa Cruz, and also surfed every nook and cranny between those areas, so I know the coast. If you are more comfortable, you can email me... but basically it'll be myself and kids (who know how to fish). Next time we'll bring our 'yaks and I look forward to fishing with you guys! Thanks and Aloha, Trout

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

Yup it's me... only took me a year to register but here I am! My folks live at the base of 92 and 280 near the crystal springs reservoir (HMB meets San Mateo) so we were going to poke pole Princeton jetties and get some crab snares. But if you have some stuff then maybe we meet up? We were going to go Sunday but kind of playing it by ear. Ok... 0630 and hittin' the road. Should be up there before dark. We'll touch base this evening! My cell is 808-223-5088. Thanks, Trout
