i'm taking an 8 year old and a pair of 12 year olds out to hmb this coming thursday.  i need someone to deck for me.  it involves helping me with baiting hooks, unhooking fish, cleaning fish and cleaning the boat.  i will cover the days expenses.  all you need is your personal gear and a bag lunch.  we will have one kid on board that has never fished before.  i will load her up with dramamine, but if she gets too sick, we may have to turn back.  you will get to fish a little, but the kids will keep us pretty busy.

so if you're good with kids and free on thursday, post here.  a back up or two would be appreciated as well.  i understand that stuff happens.  it's just that i can't run without the second adult.  thank you very much!  alan

Alan,

I just sent you an email. Let me know if you still need a deckhand.

Thanks,

Angel, call me if you need any gear/tools. Though Alan has pretty much all you could want.

Good luck A & A...

If this was Fri. I would be all over this.

Wow, talk about having scored with my first post!!! A ride on a beautiful boat with a local legend and I get to help out the kids and my own girlfriend who has never been out fishing from a boat!!!  Things just lined up for me today.

Thanks Alan, I'll be there at 6AM all bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Thanks for the offer Joey, I think I got everything covered.

Yes it 'tis Bill. :smt005

I think I overheard Alan say something to the effect of "When I need crew, I goto NCKA; them guys never whine and wont puss out! Hardcore fo' sho!" Probably not so much slang, but you get the point.

Glad you got it covered Angel. I'm jealous.

Hi Alan,

Off topic for a moment, can you tell me where I can get the large yellow swimbaits you were showing on the Alaska trip photos?  Im headed on a party boat this Sunday and sure would like to find some of those. Also, what weight head were those?

Thanks a bunch!

angel, thanks a million!  john, i've got a mold for 4, 6 and 8 ounce shad heads.  i also have 4-500 hooks left.  i don't have time to make any more shad heads and i only have some 4 ounce heads left.  i'm in saratoga and you're welcomed to all of them if you like.
