Crabitola?

Anyone had crabbing luck out there by the pier?  According to our sage of the south Allen B the wildlife is pretty spectular right now...keeping a respectful distance,  would love to drop a pot and jig for some fish while seeing the beauty of the creatures that are there..

Yeah, no.   You gotta go waaaaay out to get to productive dungeness territory out of SC Harbor or Capitola areas.  Minimum of 180 feet is the general rule, thats like 3 miles out.

Still whales at Cap though, my wife observed from the SUP on Saturday.
