Hi,
I want to go crabbing north of the G Gate.  I have been in Tomales and off Doran, both of which get hit hard.  I'd like to fish while my pots soak.  Are there  good options farther north?  Are there good Dungeness  off TC or OC?
How about off Fort Ross or Anchor Bay?

So far this year the dungies are absent at TC.   No, that's not  right.  There are dungies at TC about 1.5 to 2 miles out, and in
140 to 200 fow.  I saw what a local  PB was putting out and he had  25 lbs of weight to hold the pot down.  Good luck. :smt010

Muir reopens in a week or so. Great, easy crabbing in about 20 feet of water. Decent rock fishing, too.

If you are going out next week Tues is looking good, no swell and light winds. If its calm enough I may try and drop a pot at Rodeo beach (not recommended) or go out to Bolinas. I agree with AlexB, Muir would be a good choice when it reopens.

I just spoke to the ranger at Muir Woods and they said Muir Beach is fully open and has been since the 28th.  Great!
