Freshwater Lagoon - Tuesday? (11-12-13)

Dave made the long trek North and he's thinking he may fish in Freshwater Lagoon tomorrow am (Tuesday 11-12-13)  Would love company.  Aiming for 7 am OTW.   (And he's not quite sure why he's writing in the 3rd person  .)  Just look for the old man hippie with a little yellow hobie.

Ah man wish I could come. I am headed up to Eureka today for my grandma's funeral. I haven't fished Freshwater in years.

OK, I drove up to freshwater this morning -- and the rain was constant.  I got out, in my wet suit … and thought … I dunno….It was pouring at the moment.   Now  I have fished freshwater lagoon in the rain -- all day… but I decided today was not that day and I got in my car and drove back to Arcata.       I'm ready for the jokes now about the guy from L.A.  Bring em on.  I can handle it.     

Is it spelled "Wuss" or "Woos"?...   

It's the former.   

You call this light mist heavy rain?

No -- I don't….   But I'm ready for this … bring it on!!!!!!     Remember, that was at 7 am.   It's not even misting now.  I MADE THAT HAPPEN.   

Ok -- went back this afternoon after the rain let up for a great time!!!  Pix later this evening.  3 trout to 14" (CPR) and one acrobat managed to escape.   Fun pix later this evening …   (Had to go back to shake the Wuss factor.)
