The battery life if pretty bad, but just in case anybody is still looking at the 3Black, Best buy has the for $250 on Black Friday.

Go with the backpack and remote. Turn off the camera remotely when not needed.  You can get many hours out of the camera this way.

Also check out Wasabi batteries and charger. Great deal.
