Damn thieves

I was expecting delivery of the third and final toner cartridge for my printer today. Doorbell range. Opened the door within 2 minutes and no package in sight and UPS driver long gone. Somebody probably following the UPS truck. $75 down the drain. 

That sucks Howard.  However, I don't think you are obligated to pay for the merchandise since you never received it.  There's no proof of delivery signature for most home deliveries these days but the item isn't yours until you take possession, which you never did.  I would contact the seller and explain that you never received the item.  If it's Amazon, I'm pretty sure they will ship you another one without an argument.  Other sellers may not be as easy to work with as Amazon, but the fact remains that you didn't get the item you ordered.

Definitely contact the seller. Same thing happened to with a $160 package from Amazon. Called them, and in less than 5 Minutes, my package was on its way.

I drove past as he was getting lifted onto the ambulance.  I didn't find out why until a couple hours later.  Schadenfreude.  There is a special place in hell for thieves. 

Sorry to hear about that.  I've had this happen about 2 times and was covered both times.  I believe it is up to the shipper to file a claim so contact the seller and let them know you didn't receive the package.  Good luck.
