Three year ago today...

That was the day we opened the doors for the Headwaters Kayak Shop. Crazy to think how far we've come and how much the community has grown. We started off with 20 kayaks, 2 of which had rod holders. We had somewhere around 20 paddles, 10 PFD, some wet suits, booties, and a few other odds and ends. Thanks to all your support, and the support of others, we now over 200 kayaks in stock and we were in the top 10 dealers nation wide for both Eddyline and Jackson Kayaks in 2013. We continue to be humbled by the support of our loyal customer base year after year. We hope next year is even better. We plan on hosting more events, trips, seminar, and classes geared toward kayak fishing. We plan on continuing to sell and promote what we feel is the best brands out there. We plan on committing more of our dollars to kayak fishing. More rigging supplies, new fishing kayak brands, more sponsorships, more donations, etc. I have been a part of a lot of paddling groups over the years, and I have yet to find a group thats more cohesive, more loving, or more stoked about what they are doing than you guys. I enjoy NCKA so much, and its been so cool to become a local paddling rescource for so many of you. I've said since day 1 that if there is an active group of people out there enjoying the sport and sharing it with others, and there will alway be a need for a pro shop like the Headwaters. You guy are living proof of that. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support over the past 3 years.

Congrats to u and your family Dan. I've never bought anything from headwaters but you brought a respect into this community that can't be forgotten. More than a few has commented on how great your service had been and if I was around the area I definitely wouldn't hesitate to visit your shop. One love and I know your fam will prosper even further cuz GREAT customer service is an unbeatable price.
