Victor Woolworth (Vwool) from the Headwaters and Eddyline Fishing teams will be hosting a Crabbing from you Kayak Seminar at our Shop on October 30th at 6:30PM. We will be going over- different styles of traps, bait boxes, rigging methods, crab ID, regulations in our area, cooking ideas, and we will touch a little bit on our upcoming Crabbing event at Doran Beach. Feel free to show up early for our potluck and pre party. We will have dogs and buns on the grill, please feel free to bring whatever. This is the third time Victor has spoke about crabbing and each time the crowds have been massive. So please get here early, and BRING YOU OWN CHAIR.

The clinic will last about an hour with as much Q and A as possible. There will be prizes at the end for those who can answer our Crabbing Quiz. The event is hosted by Headwaters and Promar. We will be well stocked with crabbing gear and offering 15% discounts for anyone who buys or orders their Promar gear that night.

We are stoked to be celebrating the return of Crabbing season with all of you. If you have any questions please post them below so we can address them for everyone's benefit.

Bump.

ChuckE and I are making the trek over for the hell of it.  See you all tomorrow.

I don't think I'm bringing anything for potluck, but assuming we can order pizza delivery.   :smt002

Cherie... good to me you and others at the seminar.  Thanks for posting those pics.

Victor .... GREAT JOB on a very thorough seminar.  You're a natural at public speaking!

Dan..... Thanks sponsoring and hosting the seminar.  The hotdogs and potluck goodies hit the spot.  It was my first time at Headwaters Kayaks, and it won't be my last.  You have an awesome shop!

I had a great time at the seminar.  Thanks to all who put effort into putting this on.  Although I'm not new to crabbing I am new to crabbing out of a kayak.  It was nice to meet some new people and I look forward to the crab fest a Doran.  One thing I did notice about the Promar 102's that I purchased is that 1 of the 2 escape rings on the trap needs to have the zip ties removed and cotton string put in its place as this is a DFW requirement.  I hope to see some or all of you on the water.

I don't believe it is required for sport traps, although it is a good practice.
