Jim "Inseine" suggested rallying NCKA'ers for a state sponsored shark study to catch-n-release tagged sharks for research.  It would most likely be in the south bay this spring or summer.

Doing a shark derby with hand-lines would be fun.  I'll keep you guy updated as I get more info from Jim.

I had a chance to check out G-Whiz's wooden handline reels at Crab Fest. Those were nice!

Catch Tag and release shark on hand-line does sound fun. My interest in hand-lining is undiminished. I will follow this thread.-Amos
