Conditions on Sunday will be better for fishing with the wind gone.
I'd like to fish Carmel since I've never done so before. If anyone is game then please let me know.

It's 99% likely that I'll try Stillwater on Sunday.  I've never been there so any company will be appreciated.

99%   Saturday Sillwater for me.   If anyone needs to get through the gate, let me know,  I can get you in for $0.

What time do people head out down there.  this will be a first time for me.  (I'm use to a little bigger boat)

Hi Steve, how far is the launch from the parking area at Stillwater.
Sunday is slightly calmer but conditions are still pretty good for sat.

the launch at stillwater ranges from about 60 feet from parking on up.  depending on what parking slots are available  =)
stillwater cove is just that.  its very calm there due to the lay of the land etc
below is a link to a picture of the launch at stillwater cove.  (you go through pebble to the pebble beach beach and tennis club.  park there and launch.  in the picture you will see a building with a dock in front of it parking starts (or ends) right where the dock starts and wraps around the back side of the building from there.

hope that helps  =)

I'm looking at doing the stillwater thing Saturday morning.  Steve - if you can get me in for free, that would be great.  I've lived here in monterey for a year now and haven't been to pebble beach yet, so might as well do it tomorrow.  See you guys there!

FYI, the Public Access parking is maybe 150 yards to the north of the launch, on the other side of the Beach Club and the tee to whatever hole that is that shoots out to the cove.   I've unloaded and loaded without problem at the launch, but always park in the Public Access places so as not to wear out our welcome, especially on a weekend.  During the week, the Beach Club gets busy around lunchtime, and backing those Rolls Royces is difficult enough without my old pickup adding to the mess.

Wife says I have a pass tomorrow so I'm going to give it a try at Stillwater.   If you see someone struggeling with a yellow F&D,  Red Ford truck - that will be me.  Stevejavascript:void(0);
