I think I know who does the bronze!!
My wife's uncle, Mark Anderson, owns a foundry; Walla Walla Foundry.  He had a client bring in several driftwood horses who wanted them cast in bronze.  He had to take it apart, make molds of each piece, put it back together and braze the parts.  Needless to say, that was pretty pricey.  It's nice to have rich relatives !  Ha!

Here is a link to the photos of it.

Cool! Seems like the same artist to me. I think I'll just make a driftwood lingcod instead of a bronze....

Pretty Cool Ben but 150K Wow have you seen the one in Healdsburg ?
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Pretty cool Ben.  One of the carpenters i work with just got commissioned to build a giant whale's head with an open mouth as the entrance to a wine cave at a local winery. out of driftwood.

I saw one that looked very close to that when I was down in La Jolla a couple weeks ago dropping my daughter off at UCSD.    We stayed with friends of the family who live right on the cliff just south of La Jolla shores beach and their neigbor had one standing on their back lawn.   I shoulda got a pic of it.  :smt003
