The clients horse

 Check out this badass sculpture the client has in her dining room, it's cast bronze, faux painted and is over 150 grand.
The artist puts them together with drift wood and hires the rest out, does 14 at a time....

She does them right side up tho...

Pretty cool. I guess last time i went camping i probably burned a million dollars worth of firewood at those rates. Im glad im not the only one posting pics upside down though. Stupid iphone.......

Oh, hell yeah!

I think I know who does the bronze!! 
My wife's uncle, Mark Anderson, owns a foundry; Walla Walla Foundry.  He had a client bring in several driftwood horses who wanted them cast in bronze.  He had to take it apart, make molds of each piece, put it back together and braze the parts.  Needless to say, that was pretty pricey.  It's nice to have rich relatives !  Ha!

It would take time and one hell of an eye, this thing is just so cool, the heart, the jawline.... I'm keeping an eye out for some now, how about a driftwood Mooch?!
