Thanks for the hook-up Vince.  I got a nice watermelon and met your wife and crew too!  Extra cute kids.

This is a find!  Dune12's kin owns the strawberry stand on Stoney Point Road just above Pepper Road and the 101 at the top of Petaluma, the little wooden shack with the berry patch. They had berries, a few veggies and watermelons yesterday.  A great stand!

The berry patch on Hwy 12 into Sebastopol is a great one too if you come that way.  I can't believe they are locally grown berries due to the sheer volume and never asked but it's about the best variety of strawberry I've had.  Not like those beautiful, giant, flavorless Oxnard berries I grew up with.

Yes please do stop by on your way to the Sonoma coast! I'm sure my parents would trade berries for fish anytime you guys are loaded up as well.

You have to admire a farmer who grows a crop for taste over size.  Especially strawberries.  :smt007

My pleasure Dune.  Trading for fish is a law I don't break but we can hook them up for dinner.  Gimme a call when you get afloat again and we'll fish.  The Sonoma coast is pretty much your backyard fishery too and timed right, a quick run from Oakland.  See ya soon.
