Don't know if this will help but I found that Lowe's and home depot have  pipe insulation that comes in a few different sizes I used that instead of pool noodles seem to work for me  :smt001

Check the Dollar Store if there's one in your area. Also, check Target. I went to Target last night and they had the pool noodles in the clearance section.

funny thing i actually bought a few for my dyi kayak cart but i think the 3inch pool noodle would have more cushion support and float more weight.

looked online at target and cvs pharmacy none of them have any pool noodles in stock..

i will swing by the dollar store but i doubt it..

Try a pool supply or hot-tub supply store. I got mine there for a buck apiece.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

I gave up on the pool noodles and now am using large chunks of Styrofoam I get in packaging here at the shop. 2X as bouyant, Holds NO water. Keeps it out of the landfill :smt005 (ok, so I'm a cheap bastard and found free sh** to use, works great!!!!) :smt044 :smt044 :smt044
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

I asked my wife to pick one up for me while I was making my kayak cart...I think she bought it at Big 5 Sporting Goods in Milpitas.

True ... the foam does work well.  Also heard of people using 2-litre water bottles & applying a little hot melt glue to the cap for preventative reasons.
