Postponed - Will re-scheduled when appropriate...

A few us been talking about a Shoot-n-Chill for a while, but never got around to it; so now that I've got a new .22 Rifle, I think it might be a good time!

So if you're free on Saturday 10/5 and wanna practice taking out Zombies, come out to the Chabot Valley Gun Club on Saturday, October 5th, 2013 (I'll left you know the time after I confirm with Joel & Chucke)...

I'm getting all trigger happy right now. :smt005 Please count me in. FYI, you are all welcome to shoot my guns as long as you bring your own ammunition. So hard to buy any at the moment. See you all then if not sooner.

Nobody around here has .22 rounds.  Wish I could find some hot rounds (no subsonic stuff)

I should be able to make this shoot-N-Chill! Just need some help on some ammo! I have some but not a lot. The Gun club should have them on stock, Rite!

I check all the local sporting good stores weekly for .22 rounds but can't seem to find any. There were  some luger 9mm almost $70.00a box  though. I didn't buy them.

The gun store in .Pleasant Hill had a couple dozen boxes of 100rnd yesterday!!!! Didn't look like there were flying out the door; think they were $14/pk (which came out to $0.14/round, to rich for this cheap boy)

Miday has boxes of 500 Aguila 22lr for 33.49 + shipping (limit 1). There are some 10 off 100 dollar coupons out there if you want to order anything else. Shipping can be a killer with midway though.

Question on this range, I've never been there. What are the distances available? Paper targers only? Rapid fire allowed? Magnetic allowed? Can I bring my 45-70?

There are various ranges with different lengths; and pistols are permitted on certain ranges.

Very important you read the rules! here's the link: http://www.chabotgunclub.com/

No rapid fire, Brian. And they're very specific as to which guns can be used on which ranges.

No fun but with the ammo shortage I can't afford to rapid feed anyways.

I ask because I want to follow the rules  :smt012. Reading through the rules I don't see anything about not using 45-70, just no Barret or 50 bmg allowed. No mention of not using steelcore/magnetic which means I can use up some lake city ammo I haven't been able to elsewhere.
