My wife asked if there were any other 'bits" that were as jacked up that she didn't know about.  I told here that other than my mind, left shoulder, right elbow and hip i couldn't think of any!  LOL

You only get older and heal slower...if you've got good insurance go. My doc and a follow on consult told me that if I waited too long I would probably need a replacement as the surrounding cartilage would get jacked over time.
