Kokatat Hydrus 3L Tempest Pant with Socks 30% off

As I mentioned, I purchased my pants from the store and did not order from the website.  Mine are indeed the Hydrus 3L pants and according to the tags has the Kokatat limited lifetime warranty.

They were out of the jackets though.  I ordered mine direct from Kokatat today and they gave me a 15% discount.  It was still spendy at $175 or so.  Sure wish Claveys would have had a jacket in my size!!  But alas, I've got my outfit to chase rockfish and lings now. 

All I need now is a pair of booties to wear over the socks.  What does everyone recommend?

I both went to website and called Clavey, their website will allow me to put merchandise in my "cart" in my size and apply discount code, ect. But upon calling the store they inform me they do not have my size. The size their website would have allowed me to order on sale. I cant imagine they are making alot on these and I have to say it shows in the way they support the sale. Then I read in this thread that some have received old style pants. Clavey should put this out as a closeout of old style, stock on hand. Gear shopping is time consuming. This kind of thing is frustrating and a waste of energy. 

I heard that the transponder was found washed up on the beach at Angel Island but it was second hand.

SuperVato,  when I was in there Thursday they had one pair of XL and an assortment of smalls and mediums.  They didn't have any of the jackets left. I made mention of the difference in store stock and what the online store said.  They mentioned they needed to update the site.

Is it not a bait and switch to take money for something you dont have, and dont intend to get? I like the people and they are a local shop for me. But they wont be debiting my credit card for something they cant deliver on. Why have a website that pisses people off?

These guys at Claveys are my friends. They don't dupe people or rip people off. Have you called them? Ill call then. What exactly is your problem?

You seem to be the only one pissed off here anyway. I would suggest calling to order all your items and talking to a human.

You know Craig I really do hate screwing with anyone's livelyhood and I have made a point of saying I like the people because they are great. I did call Friday and they told me they had two extra large. So please don't imply that I haven't done what I need to do as a consumer I have that's why I know the website is wrong.I bought my Trident 13 from them because you as a local OG brought the deal to my attention. I was simply bringing to the attention of others here they don't have the items listed and voicing my displeasure at a inadequate commercial website. This is a turn off, I am happy for anyone getting a good deal ...i'm out

Uh.... I never tried to or implied that you don't know what you are doing as a consumer. Items on sale are limited to stock on hand. Clavey is a small company that doesn't update its web site as to availability of merchandise post every purchase in the store. But you are the one who implied that they do a bait and switch operation which I find totally uncalled for on this forum. This store is not some large commercial chain where they have computers constantly up dating their inventory. You should chill dude.

I will retract chill out. You know that Clavey has the best for us in mind. I know that you know that. They have supported our endeavors constantly.

I have purchased kokatat tempest pants, jacket, misterioso pants, socks, shirt, 2 PFD's, a farmer John for the wife and various other fishing related stuff from clavey's. Always had great customer service.
