I hooked this one on a blue/silver 2oz jig, it put up a steady fight, first giving up a hook/sinker/bead/swivel, then as I wrestled the spiderwire out of the water, inch by hard-fought inch, the tip of the rod poked out of the water, followed by a muddy reel, I decided not to use my new lip grippers to land it and bleed it,,,, but it was close... :smt005

I was talking to another fisherman in the parking lot, and neither of us can decide if it was abandoned accidentally, or due to a game warden visit..

Under the mud, it is an Ugly Stick and a decent Abu Garcia spinning reel (that seems to work) they all need a good cleaning/oiling though..
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

+1
mine has an orange bungee and I assume the skeletal remains of a 20" striper.
Also be on the lookout for a scotty sea light - who knew those things don't float.
