Headed out early tomorrow morning 7:00 - 7:30, winds should be light, max flood at Golden Gate is 0900.

Should mention yesterday a 52" leopard and 20 lb halibut were caught in the area, be good to meet some more Alameda kayakers or anyone else if you get a chance to join

Mike's Bait 14th Ave Oakland, usually open at 6:00 am not sure about labor day, Central Bait in Alameda will probably be open by 0900 but usually only has worms, if he does have shiners sells out quick.

I've been wanting to go and check out the rockwall.  My father in-law lives there and just bought a new OC...can't make this time, but let me know how it is.

On the water about 0730 fished until 1130-1200, not much swell, wind was light. I caught a couple perch, a small leopard shark and a couple very small rockfish, (I think), all on pileworms out near the opening in the rockwall.

Met Fishguts, good to have some company, we tried drifting, bouncing swimbaits not much luck with that, a couple other guys were in tandem, they stayed inside the wall didn't get to meet them.

People fishing on the rockwall have been doing well fishing for perch and rockfish incoming and outgoing tide, but they do not like to see the kayaks getting to close. Give you hard stares.

Heard rumors of a few stripers in the area

Plan on going again this Saturday, probably hit Mike's bait early maybe do some live lining.
