Monterey fish cleaning

Back in the day I always cleaned fish on the fish cleaning station on the commercial wharf. I don't think it's there anymore. Just checking in case I'm wrong. Is there anywhere to clean / fillet fish near MBK

Opening weekend, do to high winds, I found a log about a mile down the beach.  Other than that I dont think there is. Toss mine in a cooler full of ice and fertilize the lawn when I get home.

Gut and scale out OTW. Great way to end the day. 

Then just throw in cooler and any fileting that you have to do at home will be relatively mess free.

When I caught my WSB in Monterey we scoured the wharf area for a place to clean my fish. I finally subscribed to the notion that seeing that Monterey Bay Aquarium has a hold on the city, there are no more places to clean your fish. I went back to the Coast Guard ramp on the right side, found a piece of plywood, filleted my fish and put the carcass in the harbor for the crabs and small fish. Fuck it.
