is there a time slot/window that is only allowed to fish there? only certain times of the year you can use this area? I have been browsing through past threads briefly and i am seeing a lot of titles and comments about how this area gets closed or it is possibly going to be closed. is that the case right now? i am debating between going there or Timber this weekend so i would just like to know ahead of time. or if someone has a link that would provide me the information that i am looking that would be appreciated also, i dont know where i would be able to find it. thanks ahead of time...

I think the gate/park is closed on the weekdays, and depending on how early you show up on Saturday the gate could still be closed.

Don't go there , sharks swim in the ocean!  :smt005 I thought you just got all the low down on Timber Cove and now you  are going here? You are like the little kid who cried wolf! Please read other posts on certain launch sites and catches to see what is going on. I could just ignore your posts but feel you need to just get your virgin butt in the ocean and fish. No more questions only results!

I once walked Fort Ross as Craig's talking about.  Almost killed me and my tongue got so dry it has never been the same.
