I dig the huge amber spotlight and bumper, clearly one of a kind.
This truck is a veteran.

Yes, these old VW hippie bus/van can fetch some serious dollars. Saw one at CL for a lil more than 10 grand and I was like really?!

yeah, a guy I know had a nice one and he made a bunch of money renting it to film productions that wanted "beachy backgrounds". He sold it for about 8k last year because owning one is really a bit of a lifestyle. And trips to the shop.
I just liked this little van's attitude. Looks like a car with stories.

I'm a big VW bus van - does not matter if its a classic or newer model Although I 've had  a lot of issues with mine (mostly electrical) but I just can't seem to let her go  To me, It's really is more than a vehilcle....It's a life style

I'm a huge fan of vw busses and vanagons I had an 84 first year water boxers. Got drunk one night with a painter. After a lot of booze I ended up with the coolest flames you ever seen!!! Nostalgic flames all the way back to infront of the rear wheels with a pearl over coat.  I never took any pics of her I cracked a head and didn't have the money to fix it and no where to park it, and not realizing she was of any value I gave it away.  I've been trying for years to find someone with a pic.

here's one in Santa Cruz...

I had a 1976 camper and a 1983 Westphalia. I would never own the burnt oil smelling pieces of crap again in my life. Lurching, leaning, slowly getting from A to B. It's a lifestyle alright but for a hypper active spazoid like me it just didn't cut it. Now there is a wrecked 1989 water cooled down the street from me.................. hmmmmmmmmmmmm.............. wonder if it would be any different.

  Dammm    wish I'd kept it now !  Sold it for 800 then,,, guess with  inflation,  that would be about 10,000 today.

  Split windshield, seats...    After getting out of the Army I lived in this for a year camping / fishing from HMB to Yosemite...     Ahhhh the good ole days..   

 That VW would go anywhere... this photo of trip down to the river early in the season.
