Hi new friends,

I'm Vic. I live in San Francisco. And I just bought a yak for the oceans. It's a used Wilderness Systems Tarpon 160.

I bought it in May but left for Croatia for 2.5 months the following week so I haven't had a chance to get out on the water with it yet. I do still need to get a rod/reel and associated accessories, however. I'm a pretty big newb when it comes to fishing so I'm in the research phase, I guess you could say.

But I've been freediving for about 3 years now, primarily for abalone here in CA and spearfishing in Croatia over the summers. So, I guess you can consider me your resident information center on all things spearfishing in Croatia (among other things there).

Hi Vic.  You come from an area that is a kayaking heaven from the pictures I've seen.  Welcome.

Here's a few from the motherland that are sitting around on the old hard drive. There's more if I go digging deeper on one of my many other gadgets that I'm lagging on getting around to digging through.
