Hi, by way of an introduction, I have just joined the club. My name is Dale, and I am living in the SAC area (Newcastle). I am a disabled veteran (soon to be a civilian after 22 years)who is returning to fishing after a long absence, but relatively new to kayak fishing. Hope to meet you all on the water.

A-Hulls? A reference to Marine Boat design, or Anatomy /Personality of certain individuals?? I suspect the latter, which is encouraging. We could all do with more laughter and silliness . I spent 14 years at sea on various commercial fishing boats and ships (USN). Currently I am using a decked 17' canoe, while I explore the kayak options. I am planning on attending the CCK seminar on Thurs, so look forward to meeting some of you guys. And Thank all of you for the warm welcome.

Welcome Dale, I too am a recently retired/disabled vet.  Although I'm new to this site I've been paddling for a while and there's nothing quite like being on the water, really calms the nerves.  I hope this sport helps you out too, looking forward to seeing your catches.
