Perch fishing near Albion campground?

Just wondering...are there any perch fishing spots near the campground?  Just thought if I get bored after the wind blows us off, I might just try casting for some perch for fun.  Haven't surf fished in a while, just thought I'd break out the old gear if there are any spots nearby.
