Pretty much all of the above except for the treefish, 
It's a Hawaiian scorpianfish known as a nohu.  Took him with a threeprong (8' Gat-ku with modified sling) in a crack that started about 10' and went down to about 25'.

So the nohu was pretty much an awesome fish to eat.  If you guys ever have the opportunity to grab one in HI do it!

Well, kudos to you... for finding one of the very few fish in Hawaii that don't move. 

Yup it takes a special type of diver!  Can I learn from you?  I'd like to consistently place 2nd too

Also people recommended I shoot a trumpetfish or a filefish for sashimi, can you confirm or deny said advice?

Filefish is just like triggers... some a bit oilier IMO.

As far as trumpetfish, I have never heard of anyone eating it as sashimi.  Let me know how it is.
