Lots of thanks to go around tonight.  Big thanks to Erik, Amir and Ricci for sharing so much intel and tips on fishing our local rivers for salmon - well done fellas!

Nice turnout, must of had around 50 folks - thanks to everyone for coming out. And big thanks to Jeff and CCK for hosting, grilling and giving us all a cool place to gather and hangout.  I know there are lots of folks itching to get OTW after tonight!

I'd like to thank everyone for attending and CCK for hosting the event. I hope everyone learned something and as always, we're here to help and answer questions; feel free to PM questions.  I'm looking forward to reading some awesome reports.  Over the next few days I'm going to scrounge up some helpful info to this thread.  Thanks again to everyone!

Hey guys - would like to keep this thread focused on salmon fishing if folks are going to be posting up more info and videos.  How about breaking out the gear discussion and taking it to Classifieds.  Thanks.

I would love to see more tips and videos. I couldn't make the seminar and I would like to learn as much as possible before the fishing kicks into high gear.

Getting ready to put that great teaching to use. Stopped by FW to pick up some tackle, and my order of roe arrived today. I've never fished with roe. Need to watch the videos first.

Good stuff guys...I'm expecting some positive reports!  The videos I posted a few pages back were all caught using Ammermans...don't know what he puts in his cure but it works.

If anyone has any rigging questions, feel free to PM.

Got my roe and broke it down into 1 oz. plastic jars that I could vacuum seal into 4 packs and freeze - Thanks to Amir for the storage idea.

$0.36 each from US Plastic

I ordered 3 dozen of the 1 oz size on Sunday and had them delivered priority (arrived today) for $22.

Now I'm thinking I need more in other sizes.
