Mine was stolen. Need to replace.

Anyone got one that might be what I'm in the market for before I hit up Mikes Bikes.

I'd skip the 650c tire bikes for a while, there ust aren't enough manufacturers to give you a decent selection yet, and it is unclear whether the concept will stick. If you as over 5'7" or so then the 29er makes sense. I'm 5'8" or so, and a 29er just feels too weird, high, bizarre...they ride great however. Lot of companies touting 2x10 drive trains now, but be wary if you ride MTB around here or tahoe as you need at least 26/36 unless you don't mind walking the steep bits, most are geared 28/36 and I have found that even fit loads of the trails around here are brutal-too brutal- with that gearing. I ended up with 24/36 as my granny and it is wonderful on the nasties around the house.

Hey Steve, I have a Cannondale s2000 cad5. It's tinkers old World Cup bike, blue w/yellow pin. Fatty head shock w/lockout, xtr n disc. Super light at around 24# and one of the best technical bikes I've ridden. I loved this thing on mr toads n big meadow.
The components are old n most likely needs upgrading but the frame is solid. I believe it's a 17. I don't ride it anymore and I keep thinking I'm going to upgrade it. I have a 29r n a downhill bike which gets my attention ever so often. Most of my pedaling is done in my hobie now.
Let me know if your interested. Mike

Ps- drivetrain is 2/9. 44 and 29 up front. The top cogs in the back are big for climbing. Really a great light weight setup for versatility on any trail or fire road.

I'm 6 1 about 190.
Ride about 15-20 miles daily. Needs to be a mtn bike. I use it to hop to my spots on the American River.
