Hi all
I am planning on heading out of hmb Sunday morning for a rockfish / salmon trip.  I would love company. 
Weather permitting I am thinking about launching around 7:15.

do you have a general weather report? I'm looking to get out somewhere as well, i might swing out there. i still have to be really cautious I'm still new

Also monitor Channel 19, its the local PB'ers Channel; you can get some good intel on there... :smt003

Last report I got on Tuesday was 50/70 to 60/90 in 59 degrees; away from the waterballons (jelly fish)....

Are you guys primarily targeting rock/lingcod?  Where do you think you will mostly and what time do you think you will be heading out?  I was thinking about launching at the hmb kayak company but am happy launching anywhere everyone else is so I can be closer for safety once out there.

Daniel we launch at the old pier . It's slightly closer to the destination but hmb kayaks is fine as well.  We target lings, Rockies , and cabezon mostly but u never know . Like I said I have good numbers ch 69 . Prolly launching @ 7 .

Bring salmon gear. I scratched out  3 fish there yesterday in the 3 hrs before sunset, even though the bite had been an early morning bite for the last  week. The fish are near the bottom in 70 fow. They are pretty much only biting on bait. No flashers. Quite few 40+#ers have been caught there this week, so be prepared. All the way from the red can to the Ritz...
