TC instead of Fort Ross 8/3

Anyone headed to Fort Ross on Saturday? I was thinking of going out for some rockfish and/or lings. Never been out there before so hoping someone with experience might be out there.

Any tips on lures or bait for out there?

I will be about 30 minutes north at anchor bay.

hmmm, that's a ways up there but fishing with someone is better than solo. What time are you going to be there?

Will let you know plan on getting on the coast for sure this weekend just not sure where yet.

Jimbo had towards padottis that big rock below RB...big lings in 35 FOW up close to it theres.a lot.of structure there...also work that bay just north of the rocks...hooked some huge blkw there using those little ittybitty Big hammers using like shrimp flies...they were green/yellow and the ling was.on a live blk have fun, and when the wind comes up head in its a hard paddle up the hill with all those fish your going to catch...

I'm gonna be up fishing anchor bay. I like the fishing up there and the campground is super nice compared to all the options in Sonoma.

doesn't too bad for fishing and at least you can get prepared for the shit that hits the fan at albion

I can launch as early as first light but i can launch a little later if you wanna go out I will wait for you depending on what time you will be getting there
