Nice "Prison Plate"!  I have one too, a gift from Hobie Dave and Pam.  Combine it with a chair with a fold out table and you're set!

Just a thought. With some of the casserole type dishes maybe we can put a piece of masking tape or something on the side with bold lettters to indicate if there are likely allergens included. My son's allergy to fish is unfortunate, but not too hard to spot in dishes. However I know one prominent member whose toddler is allergic to both eggs and peanuts, which hide easily in casseroles. Food for Thought so to speak

Several slabs of slow smoked beef brisket. I will brine and prep them at home and start slow cooking them once I get to Albion. These will be for nightly feast and my potluck contribution.

Get a base layer of fruit before all the good stuff goes down.

Chicken, mushroom, Garlic Brown rice... Sticky, warm, filling goodness!!!! think side of flavored mashed potatoes but RICE!!!! Apple cobbler! Man dogs or BBQ pulled meat of some sort and little rolls....
