Albion Open 2014 July 25,26,27 Registration Only Open until July 20th by mail

There is only a two foot run out in the afternoon.  Paddle to the beach and roll up. Come on. Probably best to just stay in camp.

I 'think' I know how to read the tide table for Abion, but just in case I got it wrong;
Looks like tide is not in our favor for launching or landing with low tide early in the morning and high tide around 4 in the afternoon.  We will be paddling against the tide both leaving in the morning and coming back in before 2pm on Tournament day?

What is the most participants in the past? This seems to be getting close if not surpassing past tournaments.

It looks like I'll get to sneak up and fish the tournament. I have to be in Boonville Saturday evening, but I'm planning on driving up after work Thursday. If the weather cooperates I'll have a chance to fish Friday and Saturday. I'll bring some crabbing gear to soak while I fish. I've crabbed three times on the ocean, this will be my first try fishing. I sure hope the weather is favorable.
