Is there info posted on the date and hours of the tourney? I found out that the event I'm going to that weekend is only a half hour away from Albion. I'm considering the possibility of sneaking up there to fish the tournament.

if you are coming on Sat morning, you better send your money and registration now, registration will only be open onsite on Friday afternoon.

That would be awesome to have the salmon bite going off while we are all up at Albion. Then again, I don't care if the weather sucks and we can't fish; MY FAMILY AND I LOVE ALBION!!!!

I 'think' I know how to read the tide table for Abion, but just in case I got it wrong;
Looks like tide is not in our favor for launching or landing with low tide early in the morning and high tide around 4 in the afternoon.  We will be paddling against the tide both leaving in the morning and coming back in before 2pm on Tournament day?

If you're launching at 5:30am it should be bottomed out & pretty slack. Coming back in late would be a bad idea though.
