This is why God invented the tackle shop....   :smt003

Should be fun, and with the bill on my wife's car mounting, I am getting a bit more serious about winning.

I would not be surprised to see 20.

I just got my culm-n-right in the mail today. Basically it is a tie breaker when 2 fish are too close together for the scales. I will bring it in case we run into a tie situation.

I'll bring plenty of tortillas and cabbage and salsa.

We best catch some fish.....

If we have 20 to feed we need to catch at least 30 fish.

I would request a few more fillet knives.  I can fillet only so many fish in a set amount of time.

And to the doubters (if there are any) bass make EXCELLENT fish tacos.

Is this a pot luck? if so, what should I  bring to help sweeten the pot!

I don't know what El's is everybody bringing.

Let me know tonight. If not, then I'll just bring what ever!

Watch me.

Bass are tastey.  They breed like cockroaches.

But hey, I have nothing against C&R only guys.  Just weigh your bass and attempt to get someone to witness it, or have a live well.  We welcome all types.  Meat hunters, selective harvest, C&R only......they are all cool in my book.

Remember though, 12" minimum and 5 fish total are the limits for bass.

It is pretty much gonna be a bunch of guys eating (Hopefully) a bunch of fresh fish tacos.

something to go with fish tacos.  I think I remember someone saying something about bean salad also.

Everyone who has radios, the official channel for the MBF will be 69.

Stay tuned for the humorous smack talk and blow by blow during the day.

Please contribute to the fun and keep the chatter up.  It is a gas to hear what everyone has to say during a day of fishing.

Plan on hearing me say that I am going to win the tournament at least 10 times in the 6 hour fishing period!  :smt002

Where is Stuart?  We need to have him come out and squeel like a school girl when he catchs a bass!  :smt003 :smt005

Oh, and be sure to check in with me before you start fishing (I'm the guy in the really bright tie dye) so I can get your name written down and your ten bucks.

There will be no "start gun" so to speak, but only fish caught between 8:30 and 2pm can be weighed.

Oh number 2, if you show up late, no big deal just let me know by radio you are on hand so I can write down your name and chase you down later for the cash.

Oh number 3, if you aren't familiar with a friendly MBF and the radio chatter that it entails, don't worry.....No one is serious here, we are just out to have fun and razz each other a bit.  All good fun and games.
