Bodega Bay tomorrow 7/10/2013

I have to try.  I had two hook ups at TC on Sunday and lost both.  I still have adrenaline in my blood. I should launch at 6:30.

Trying to decide whether to chase salmon or rockies on Friday.

Doing my best here at work to clear Wednesday's schedule...know later today. Just in case I top off charges on batteries, radio, and camera (to get a picture of your big fish)

Was that 2 salmon hookups at TC?  If so how far out were you, how deep, what were you using?
Were you trolling or mooching?  Paddle or Hobie?
I'll be back in CA in a few days and plan on some serious salmon searching soon! Hopefully catching tool

I was told that the beach doesn't open til 7am. 

Allen mentioned wheeling the kayaks down the beach to the jetty.  Is this allowed before 7am?

A few of us will be heading out there tomorrow.

BTW - Better bring your GPS. WX is for dense fog all week.

I was watching the weather I want to make it out tomorrow. Im just not sure Ill be there before 8am .

You can launch from Doran early. There is a self pay drop box (bring $7 cash).

It's a little more of a walk before they open the parking area by the jetty, but you can double park for a minute and offload your gear before you go park.

You are such an optomist.  Do you launch at Doran?  I have only been t here once and Kayakjack led the way.  I can't wait.

Yup, I am an Optio-mist...hehe. Getting closer to committing fully ....at lunch I  made the trip (200 yds to OPS from my desk) for a tray of bait.
If all goes well I will be at Doran at 5:00 and launching at first glow.
