Looking for an SMC/SC hook up for one day this weekend

I know it a lot of people are taking long weekends and may be out of town.  So I'm looking for a hook up on the San Mateo to Santa Cruz area hook up for the weekend.  Lets get something together, thinking Fri, Sat, or Sun.  Let me know what is good and we can work it from there.

YES...if WX looks good ? fog is thick so could be safety in packs....

Haven't been to HMB in quite a while, also have never fished from 4 mile beach.

Simple SC trip is good too. What's it like to launch from Cowells?

I'm launching from 4 mile beach tomorrow morning 7/4 I can give a report when I get back.

Where is 4 mile beach?

4 mile beach is just 4 miles north of Santa Cruz on hwy 1.

If you want rockfish, go to HMB or SC. If you want rockfish or halibut, go to SC. If you want salmon go to Monterey or Bodega. You you know what I will be hunting and if you want to hookup, PM me. I got the extra stuff for you too. Just bring a flexible rod and a smooth drag. Good luck buddy.
