I'm planning on another go out at 4 mile beach early on the 4th. Anyone wants to join your welcome to. Weather and swell are looking good that day.

I will be there at sun up. What time will you be getting there?
1st Place in a private tournament I did not invite anyone else to be in. (and I barely squeaked out a victory)

Holy Crap that's early. Where are you coming from?

I will probably be there at 6am, and off the water by 1030 or so.

I am going to bring a crab trap. Caught one dungie a couple months back, and I want to see if I can get another.

I'd leave that trap at home if I were you. Dungeness season ended yesterday.

Glad I mentioned the trap. Thanks for the heads up AlexB, I owe you a beer.

I am coming from Live Oak. I will be there at or before 6.

Hey Sesquatch,

Where do you usually go once you launch?  How far of a paddle?  I might head out there in the late morning tomorrow just to scout the area.  I would be without my yak since I don't have a car rack yet.  Who knows, maybe I'll run into you on your way in!

I usually am cruising out in front of the point bout 100 yds out from there in the kelp beds.  From the point north there is rocky bottom.

The furthest I have gone out there is 3/4 mile. Very easy paddle to the honey holes!
