911 attorneys and law enforcement

Again it's hard to say or know why two other potential suspects are not in custody. I wouldn't want to even speculate. The only other suggestion is "the squeaky wheel gets the grease". Usually the more involved the victim and family is the more potential for things to be finished with the most satisfactory answer with the given choices.

The DA is an elected official (aka a politician). As we've all seen, some cases get more emphasis due to the victim/family being involved and using the media (social media included) to help get the desired results. I would not go this route unless the "ball was being dropped". Honey works better than vinegar. It will be a long road. Good luck

Sounds like it is early in the process and things just need  to develop a bit more. Backdeckpro's advice is solid. Do face to faces and get to know the investigator's so it becomes more personal to him.  The hard part could be after your son gets well and the case gets put on a back burner due to "higher priorities". Then you have to make sure it is a priority. Will send a PM later this evening

My deepest sympathies Randall. I am really sorry to hear this. If there is anything i can do just call. As you well know, advice is not my strong suit.

The police really stepped up today and witness's. Thank you for all the blessings and input. Overwhelmed with the outpouring of love for the kid. Great advice on the board and in PM's. I will respond back w pm's later tonight when it quiets down.

Just seeing this now. I hope that Tyler's on the mend, and that more of the perpetrators have been charged.
