Intel on Santa Barbara ?

Heading down to Santa Barbara this weekend to scout some things out. Any intel on dive spots and or lodging would be appreciated.
Looking to just basically dive and shoot fish.
I know most people are tight lipped about spots but figured I'd try.

Really , really cool guy.  He said if had time he would try to put me on WSB down there last year. 

He may or may not even remember me but he is an NCKA kinda guy.  I met him with Sean White and Jim Sammons in Baja in 2010 and then saw him again last year at PIF.

PM anacapabob and piscean. If you want a guide go with rhino Krieger. For a six pack go with wave walker.

The couple of ocean hot spots I used to fish in SB are closed MPAs now. Even my go-to tackle shop is gone . Check in at Hook, Line & Sinker for gamefish intel.
My best fishing trips down there recently were PB charter trips to fish the islands,  and trout fishing via kayak at Lake Cachuma (mussel insp there now) which were both a lot of fun.
