Ive been hearing so much about that spot, but i have no idea where it is.( im looking on the fish n map) - is it the northeastern part of the canyon?

Its about 6 or 7 miles pretty much due south of the SC harbour.  No gps#s at work, but that should give you a good idea.

How feasible is it to paddle to the Soquel Hole? I mean I think distance-wise it can be done but I've never ventured out more than a mile or so. Sounds a bit scary going so far in a kayak. :smt005  But I've heard it's quite a productive spot...

Really depends on the winds.

Personally, I'm not that brave, but it has been done in the past.  I'd rather stay nearshore.

If you want to do it, pay close attention to the wind forecasts.
