Okay I know my last hookup post got all kinda crazy.

So I will be going up to Anchor Bay the morning of July 4 and fishing when I get there. Fishing every morning up there. It's about 30 min above TC and cost about $9 to yak fish there. It is also in Mendocino County so crabbing is still open till July 30. Fished there a couple times last year and caught some nice lings and cabbies. Was thinking about trying for some halibut or maybe even salmon.

Launch is pretty easy on the north portion of the beach in Chicken Cove. After fishing we can empty all the gear and play in the surf and try some launching and landing.

Stay together at AB - the landlord has been known to visibly frequent that area as SBD and Shimmy can attest.

(edit) - my apologies on the above, it was at AC, not AB!

Saturday night (the 6th) is fireworks in Point Arena - a great show in the air and on the land as well. The cove rocks!

Thanks for the heads up JH.  I will keep my head on a swivel. Would hate to use the hobie shark attack warranty on Yum-Yum.

Will try to post reports daily if possible. I think AB Camp has WIFI
