Was thinking about coming down Friday morning to do a little fishing but needed to find out if we can camp where the PIF event is going to take place Friday and Saturday night. If not what are the options?

If there re salmon close enough I wii fish with you Fri.

Sorry for the late response, been kinda busy getting ready for my new job which starts this Sunday....

Been trying to work with Pillar Point Harbor Master on allowing us to camp in the grassy area next to HMB Kayaks, but have not got the green light to do so; for now we only can use that area for "Day Use".

However, there is always "Dry Camping" permitted in the upper parking lot and we (other fishing clubs I used to be associated with) been able to kinda put our rigs in a wagon wheel setup with minimal repercussion from the Harbor Patrol. There is "technically" a camping fee required, however they tend to rarely check; pay or don't pay at your own risk.

I am still working on this and will update you as soon as I get the clearance.

And, FYI: Joel is doing great and is expected to be there!!!!

Stoked, this will be our first PIF event. We will be there in the 5th wheel for the weekend. Can't wait, any reason the get over to the coast is gooood with me!
