Pay it Forward Paddle 2013 (Paypal Info on page 4, Prizelist on Page 1)

Date: Saturday, July 13th

Time: Paddle from 9am to 12 noon. Huge Raffle and legendary NCKA Potluck at 2PM

Location: Half Moon Bay Kayak @ Pillar Point Harbor

Paddle: HMB Kayak to the South Green Can - 2.1 miles (see attached map)

For those who don't know, PIF stands for Pay it Forward, and this will be the fourth year that we have organized a paddle to honor and celebrate our brothers battling Cancer, along with a fundraising raffle to help raise some much needed $$ for them.

We raised over $6,000 at the 2010 PIF, over $9,000 at the 2011 PIF, and over $7,900 at the 2012 PIF.

This year the recipient of the PIF funds will be Joel "Mooch" Lotilla. A kayak fishing legend, hero, brother and dear friend. He is currently on Hospice care after battling cancer for several years....

$20 raffle tickets can be purchased at event and before hand via PayPal. Details on PayPal to come shortly.

27. Introduction to Saltwater Kayak Fishing: this class is for anglers with freshwater experience and have taken a kayak paddling class. Kayak, paddle, PFD, VHf,  rods, reels and bait provided. Location and time TBD. There will be self rescue practice on the way in. (GB2)
28. White Sea Bass Guide Trip: this guide trip is for experienced saltwater anglers who want to improve their WSB skills. A 1 hour prep class, OTW instruction, terminal gear and 2 pounds of primo market squid will be provided. This trip will be in August or September 2013. (GB2)

Big Jim, Count me in for that day! I am going to pick up a BPS card to help with the raffle prizes.

I'm in! with a set of Malones Kayak Wheels, plus a Spinning Rod/Reel for the Raffle.

I will have A custom fryer to be raffled off...

i have two brand new pfds to provide..dont have brand info on me but i will get to it.

I'll have a couple of reels and rods for the raffle that I can bring.

   parking will not be an issue; they have sufficient parking to handle all who plan to attend.

I'll post more info on location and accommodations in the next few days.

PIF is awesome because the people who come are amazing, and because we all come together for a special cause. 

As long as you guys all come and bring your good vibes and smiles and willingness to help a brother out...it can't be anything but awesome.
